Ominira Initiative for Economic Advancement is a non-profit organization established in 2019 to research and advocate solutions to Africa’s socio-economic issues. We execute our mission through strategic engagements, outreaches, publications, videos, infographics, events, and more.

Location: Ibadan, Nigeria.        

Type: Limited Term Contract – 1 year (Renewable)

Remuneration: N120,000 per month

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or management sciences
  • At least 2 years of experience in a non-profit program management role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound judgment and ability to multitask
  • Excellent knowledge of governance and socio-economic issues
  • Good computer skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, document preparation and proofreading, partner relationships, and event planning.
  • Engage in the implementation of organizational projects and programs, ensuring quality and timely delivery. 
  • Conduct periodic monitoring and evaluation to assess performance and ensure the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of organizational programs.
  • Contribute to the development of grant applications and implementation of fundraising and development strategies.
  • Ensure that project milestones are met within budgets
  • Use appropriate digital tools to organize information, facilitate communications, and measure performance.
