Ominira Initiative for Economic Advancement is set to hold the 2nd edition of the Freedom in Nigeria Conference (#FiNCON2024) in Abuja on the 24th of October 2024. The conference aims to bring together thought leaders, professionals, academics, and government officials to dialogue on the most pressing barriers to entrepreneurship and investments in Nigeria, and proffer solutions and recommendations.
The 1st Edition of the conference was held in 2022, in Ibadan, Oyo state. Themed “Trade, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Freedom”, it featured speeches and discussions on improving Nigeria’s business environment and leveraging the African Continental Free Trade Area.
Themed “Promoting Enterprise,” FiNCON2024 will delve into the issues undermining businesses and wealth creation in Nigeria, and highlight specific reforms necessary for increasing entrepreneurship and prosperity in the country.
