Earlier this year, the government of Nigeria stopped payment of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol. Initially, the price of petrol at filling stations dropped, but it has been on the rise recently.

The host of #StreetViews on OminiraTV, Tolu Twinkle, asked a few Nigerians what they think about the government’s plan to invest more in healthcare, education, etc rather than spending so much money to subsidize petrol.
